The popularity of fat biking has grown exponentially over the last few years thanks to their increased use in winter to travel over off-road trails covered in snow. But, according to a recent online post for Outside Magazine, fat biking in the summer is narrowing the gap, and allowing cyclists to put together two very wonderful things: bikes and beaches.
Just think of the beaches across Canada that one could bomb with big, old fat tires:
• Crash over driftwood strewn beaches up north on Lake Superior
• Fly over the dunes of Lake Huron or Sandbanks in Ontario
• And those oh so gorgeous and massive beaches on Vancouver Island.
So many possibiilities. Check out the full article here.
